As a fifth generation native of Asheville, I am quite familiar with "the territory". I grew up in North Asheville and graduated from Asheville High School in 1983. "Go Cougars!"
After graduating from Wake Forest University with a BA in Communications, Radio, TV, Film, I moved up North to Washington, DC. From there, I moved out West to Boulder, Colorado. But even there the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the character of this city are hard to forget, and I found myself lucky enough to return to Asheville in the early '90's.
Over the years I have witnessed the exciting growth of Asheville, with the renewal of downtown and the boom of new development. My formerly sleepy little hometown has become a thriving community and a most desirable place to live. If you love the outdoors, it's hard to find a better place where all four seasons are so beautiful and distinct.
I now live in South Asheville with my husband and two children, and my step son is away at college. I enjoy volunteering in my children's schools and supporting my community in other ways. Tennis is my hobby and horseback riding is my passion. But what really thrills me these days is watching my children score a goal or make a basket and look over their shoulder to make sure my husband and I are watching.
Believe me, Asheville is a great place to live and one of the best for raising a family! Let me show you how much there is to appreciate in this area, and help you find your ideal home.
