Ginny Barker has followed the Asheville real estate market closely since 1993 when Jane McNeil helped her family find just the right house. Now she enjoys putting her knowledge of Asheville's neighborhoods to work for home buyers and sellers. Mom to four school-age children, Ginny loves learning. Old houses, kid's literature and local history are among her many interests. She and her husband, Matt, work together to serve the needs of a wide variety of real estate clients.
As the other half of the Barker team, Matt adds two decades of experience in communications to his real estate solution-finding skills. A professional graphic designer and writer/editor, he operates a local design firm and goes the extra mile to get listings noticed. He also creates marketing materials for Preferred Properties and many of his fellow agents. Together, Matt and Ginny focus on providing excellent service with a down-to-earth style.
